DUO Shopping Mall

The center opened in 1979 as Hervantakeskus, designed by architects Raili and Reima Pietilä. A substantial expansion in 2007 doubled its size and adapted the building for growing community needs.

The mall serves as a meeting point where shoppers and visitors gather throughout the day to browse and socialize. Its indoor spaces create a public gathering hub similar to a traditional market setting.

The building holds protected status under the town plan as a key component of the Hervanta Central Axis development project. This planning protection recognizes its importance in shaping the neighborhood's urban structure.
