DUO Shopping Mall

DUO Shopping Mall spans 21,600 square meters across multiple levels, featuring large windows and distinctive fountain structures throughout the retail space.

The center opened in 1979 as Hervantakeskus, designed by architects Raili and Reima Pietilä, and underwent a major expansion in 2007 that doubled its size.

The architectural design incorporates elements from European department stores of the late 19th century, with market hall features and winter garden influences.

The mall contains three grocery stores - Lidl, S-market, and K-Supermarket - plus Alko, Tokmanni, restaurants, and specialized retail establishments.

The building holds protected status under the town plan and forms an integral part of the Hervanta Central Axis development project.
