HAM Helsinki Art Museum

The Helsinki Art Museum maintains a collection of 10,000 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and installations from Finnish and international artists.

Founded in 1974, the museum has transformed from a municipal gallery into a central institution for managing Helsinki's expanding public art collection.

The museum features permanent displays of Tove Jansson's frescoes, originally created for Helsinki City Hall, representing Finnish artistic heritage.

Located on the second and third floors of Tennis Palace, the museum provides free entry to visitors under 18 and includes a street-level shop.

The museum oversees art installations throughout Helsinki's public spaces, with nearly half of its collection displayed in parks, streets, and institutions.
