Nokkakivi, Amusement park in Lievestuore, Finland
Nokkakivi is an amusement park with 19 attractions spread across its grounds, offering rides for families of different ages. It features a roller coaster, a water ride, and various carnival-style games and play equipment.
Construction of the park began in 2005, and it opened on June 15, 2007. This made it one of the newest amusement parks to arrive in the country.
The name comes from a large rock nearby that local young people painted to look like a human head back in the early 1970s. This painted stone became a landmark for the area and still shapes how people see the place today.
The park is located along Highway 9 and is open from June through August. You can bring your own food and enjoy picnics on the grounds during your visit.
The park houses a free arcade museum with around a hundred different gaming machines from various decades. This museum shows how arcade games changed over time and brings gaming history to life for visitors.
