Tampere Deck Arena, Indoor sports arena in Tampere, Finland
Tampere Deck Arena is a large multi-purpose hall in the center of Tampere that provides space for up to 15,000 spectators. The facility includes 63 skyboxes and covers 50,000 square meters (approximately 538,000 square feet) with several levels for sports, concerts and other events.
The hall opened on December 3, 2021 and was created following designs by architect Daniel Libeskind. It forms the centerpiece of a larger urban development project around the main railway station.
The ice hockey hall serves as the shared home for two traditional clubs and also draws international artists. Visitors experience both the lively local sports culture and large music events and exhibitions that take place throughout the year.
The hall is located just 600 meters (about 0.4 miles) from the main railway station and is easily reached by trams and buses. Public transport is included in the ticket price for many events.
During an event, guests can use a Fastlane service to order food and drinks delivered directly to their seats. The system allows visitors to enjoy the performances without standing in queues.
