The Kokemäki Church stands as a cruciform structure at 47 meters elevation, featuring architectural elements designed by Johan Schytt and Carl Fredrik Adelcrantz.
Construction of the Kokemäki Church took place between 1780 and 1786, during the reign of Swedish King Gustav III, with an expansion to its current shape in 1886.
The church contains an altarpiece painted by S. Tvoroschnikoff, which reproduces the composition of an original Rafael painting from the early 16th century.
Located at Kirkkopolku in central Kokemäki, the church maintains regular services and remains at comfortable temperatures even during crowded gatherings.
In 1882, a false fire alarm during Christmas Eve services resulted in three fatalities and multiple injuries as people rushed to evacuate the building.
