Kollaa and Simo Häyhä Museum

The Kollaa and Simo Häyhä Museum is a military and history museum in Rautjärvi dedicated to the Winter War. The collections feature original letters, photographs, and personal belongings that document the battles at the Kollaa front during 1939-1940.

The museum occupies a former military barracks, specifically the Sairastupa building that once functioned as a small hospital during the reserve barracks period. The focus centers on the Winter War battles when Finland defended itself against invasion in the early 1940s.
