Dol

Located two kilometers from Postira on the island of Brač, Dol features traditional stone houses, three taverns, and numerous agricultural terraces.

The settlement contains preserved dry stone hives from the 16th century, along with a Venetian castle that now functions as a local restaurant.

Local residents maintain traditional crafts, including the construction of cargo saddles for horses and donkeys, integral to the area's heritage.

Three restaurants in Dol - Konoba Toni, Konoba Gušti Skoja, and Kaštil Gospodnetić - serve regional dishes following traditional recipes.

Despite Brač being known as an island without water, Dol contains two lakes hidden beneath rocks at a depth of 60 meters.
