Tuhobić, Mountain summit in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia.

Tuhobić is an elongated mountain with steep sides, stretching 5 km along the coastal edge of the Gorski Kotar plateau from Gornje Jelenje toward Fužine. Its highest peaks reach 1,109 and 1,106 m.a.s.l. The southern slope is grassy while the northern is forested, and a ruined geodetic pillar stands on the summit.

The Tuhobić Tunnel runs beneath the mountain on the Rijeka motorway, whose two portals are visible from the grassy summit ridge. The sources record the tunnel only as eponymous with the mountain and give no construction date or builder.

The mountain's name is used for the Tuhobić Tunnel, which runs beneath it and carries the Rijeka motorway; from the grassy ridge above, hikers look down on both tunnel portals and the motorway. The ridge also marks the sharp boundary between Gorski Kotar forest and coastal karst vegetation, a contrast walkers notice within a few steps.

Several marked trails lead to the summit from different starting points, with the eastern route offering the most direct approach. Bring sturdy footwear and water, and be ready for changing mountain weather.
