Vojković Palace

Vojković Palace is a two-story baroque building in Gradec with symmetrically arranged windows and carefully crafted stone details. The entrance is marked by an ornate portal that opens toward the street.

The building was constructed in 1764 during a period when Zagreb underwent architectural changes and European design trends gained stronger influence. The innovations of that era are reflected in the residences of Croatian nobility.

The building shows how wealthy families in Zagreb wanted to live and what architectural styles appealed to them. You can see this today in the careful design and the way the house fits into the street.

The palace is located in the Gornji Grad-Medveščak district and is easy to view from outside since it is protected and maintains its original appearance. Visitors can observe the facade and architectural details from the public space.

The building was constructed from local limestone, giving its facade a light gray tone that changes throughout the day as sunlight shifts. This natural coloring and light effects create a living, changing appearance for the palace.
