Mailáth Castle, Donji Miholjac, English Tudor style château in Donji Miholjac, Croatia.
The Mailáth Castle stretches across 3,500 square meters of space, featuring 50 rooms distributed between multiple floors connected by towers and balconies.
The construction of this grand residence began in 1903 to replace an earlier baroque building, under the direction of Count Ladislav Mailath.
The ground floor contains winter and summer dining rooms, a music room, a dance hall, and a library, reflecting the social patterns of early 1900s nobility.
The castle currently functions as the administrative center for the local government of Donji Miholjac, making it an active part of the community.
The castle incorporated advanced technology for its time, including self-generated electricity, plumbing systems, and a combination of tile stoves with open fireplaces.
