Cifra Palace

Cifra Palace is a mixed-use building with distinctive ceramic tile facades and glazed decorative elements. The structure contains residential apartments, commercial spaces, and a former casino arranged within its U-shaped layout.

The building was completed in 1902 by architect Géza Márkus as a showcase of the secessionist style popular in Hungary at that time. It later transformed into an exhibition venue, becoming an important cultural space for the community.

The building houses an art collection and functions as a gallery space for the city today. Visitors can see works that were once gathered by a local art collector and later donated to public use.
