Built in the early 20th century on the foundations of a Reformed church, the mansion underwent significant renovations in 1804 by Dégenfeld Schonburg Imre.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, the mansion hosted numerous intellectuals, including notable Hungarian figures Kölcsey Ferenc and Széchenyi István.
Visitors can access the mansion for a fee of 1000 HUF, with guided tours available to explore the historical rooms and architectural details.
The mansion contains a hidden passage within its thick upper-level walls, connecting to an original cellar that remains intact beneath the structure.
