Sacred Heart Church, Jesuit church in Budapest District VIII, Hungary
Sacred Heart Church is a Jesuit church at Horánszky Street 18–22 in Budapest District VIII, built 1888–1891 to plans by Kauser József and executed by Kauser Gyula. Its exterior is clad in red brick, and the design mixes Romanesque Revival forms with Gothic elements.
The church was completed in 1891 during a period of intensive architectural development in late 19th-century Budapest. This construction project was part of the broader urban modernization that shaped the capital during that era.
