Faddan More Psalter

The Faddan More Psalter is an early medieval manuscript from County Tipperary featuring sixty vellum sheets organized into five sections. The Latin text appears in a single column with decorated letters highlighting the beginning of specific psalms.

The manuscript dates to the 8th century and lay hidden in an Irish peat bog for centuries until accidental discovery in 2006. This finding triggered extensive restoration work that preserved the delicate document for future study.
