Church of Our Lady of the Assumption

The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is a Catholic church located where Kylemore Road and Ballyfermot Road intersect, designed to accommodate nearly 2,000 worshippers. The interior features mahogany furnishings throughout and is arranged to create a spacious worship environment.

The parish purchased a former paint depot in 1950 to serve as an initial worship space before planning expansion. Construction of the permanent church building began in 1951 at its current location, reflecting the neighborhood's rapid growth during that period.
