Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater

The Suzanne Dellal Center is a dance and theater complex in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood featuring four performance halls, multiple rehearsal spaces, dining areas, and outdoor plazas built across several levels. The campus sits near the Mediterranean coast and accommodates a range of events and performances throughout the year.

The center was established in 1989 through a partnership between the Dellal Family, Tel Aviv Municipality, the Tel Aviv Foundation, and Israel's Ministry of Culture and Education. The project transformed century-old school buildings into a modern venue for the performing arts.

The center serves as a working home for Israeli dance and theater groups that have shaped the country's performing arts scene. Walking through the campus, you encounter dancers and performers in rehearsal, making the space feel alive with creative activity.

The campus spreads across multiple levels, so wear comfortable shoes and allow extra time to explore the entire site. The outdoor plazas and open areas offer good places to rest between events and take in the surroundings.

The facility was built within restored 19th-century school buildings, including the former Yechiely Girls School and Alliance School for Boys. These historic structures were carefully preserved and now form the core of the contemporary complex.
