Chelouche House

Chelouche House is a two-story building in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood featuring Mediterranean design elements with high ceilings and large windows. Stone walls and construction methods reflect how homes were built during Tel Aviv's early development.

Built in 1886 by Aharon Chelouche, an Algerian Jewish immigrant, this was the first Jewish residential structure constructed beyond Old Jaffa's boundaries. It marked the beginning of Jewish settlement moving into new territory.
