Meyerhoff Art Education Center, Art education center and museum in Tel Aviv, Israel

The Meyerhoff Art Education Center is an art museum and educational facility in Tel Aviv with modern classrooms and studio spaces dedicated to teaching painting, sculpture, photography, and other artistic disciplines. The building combines teaching areas with exhibition galleries, serving both students and visitors who come to view artwork.

The center began in the 1970s as workshops in Meir Dizengoff's house at 16 Rothschild Boulevard, run under Dr. Gila Ballas with teachers Pinhas Eshet, Avraham Farhi and Motti Omer. In 1971 the museum moved to Shaul HaMelech Street and the workshops were transferred to the lower floor of the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion. In 1986 Mayor Shlomo Lahat leased the vacant Dubnov School building to the museum, and the center was renovated there; it closed in July 2020.

The center's name honors Yosef Meyerhoff, an American Zionist philanthropist who funded the renovation of the former Dubnov School building, which included external ornamental additions inspired by postmodern architecture. From 1988 the plastic arts track of Ironi Ale High School held its classes in the center's workshops, and each year two exhibitions were hung in its spaces: a mid-year show and a graduates' exhibition, each graduate receiving a printed catalogue with a disc.

The center closed in July 2020, so its workshops and classes no longer run and visits are not possible. The building it occupied from 1986 is the former Dubnov School, renovated in a Bauhaus spirit by architect Dan Eitan, with sculpture and pottery studios on the ground floor and painting, print, photography and computer rooms above.

The building, constructed in the 1950s, was partly renovated in the Bauhaus spirit by architect Dan Eitan, who merged classrooms into large workshops. The ground floor held sculpture and pottery studios, while painting, printing, photography and computer workshops occupied the upper floors. The center closed in July 2020.
