Rewari district

Rewari is an administrative district within Haryana state that spans terrain ranging from hilly Aravali ridges to sandy plains. The landscape sits at roughly 245 meters elevation and contains mixed topography that shapes both settlement patterns and local economic activities.

The district was established on November 1, 1989, when it was separated from Mahendergarh district to form Haryana's 22nd administrative division. This creation reflected a broader restructuring of state governance and local administrative boundaries.
