Everest House

Everest House is a 21-floor commercial building on Chowringhee Road that reaches 84 meters high with a contemporary glass and concrete design. The ground floor features shops and showrooms while the upper levels contain offices with adaptable spaces for different business purposes.

The building was completed in 1978 during a period of significant urban expansion and economic growth in eastern India. It emerged as part of Kolkata's larger transformation into a modern commercial center.
