Punit Van

Punit Van is a botanical garden in Gandhinagar with multiple sections planted with specific trees and plants across the grounds. Pathways wind through the landscape offering visitors a space to walk and observe the vegetation.

The site was established by Gujarat's Forest Department as a planned green space with trees planted to create the initial landscape. The project began with a vision to develop a botanical garden with special meaning.

Each section incorporates trees and plants connected to Hindu astrological elements that visitors encounter as they walk through the grounds. The layout reflects traditional beliefs in how celestial bodies relate to different plant species.

The garden opens during two separate time periods for visitors, allowing flexibility in when to explore. Choose the timeframe that suits your preference for temperature and sunlight during the day.
