Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Tirukulandhai, Hindu temple in Tirukulandhai, Tamil Nadu, India

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, also known as Tirukulandhai, is a Hindu temple built in the Dravidian style in Tamil Nadu, southern India. It features a three-tiered granite tower called a gopuram at its entrance, with several walled courtyards leading to the central shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

This temple is mentioned in the Divya Prabandham, a collection of Tamil devotional hymns composed over a thousand years ago by the Alvar saints. The hymns treat this site as a place of worship worth celebrating, which helped establish its standing among pilgrims over the centuries.

This temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams, the sacred Vishnu shrines celebrated in the hymns of the Tamil poet-saints known as Alvars. Visitors can watch devotees bring flower garlands and offerings to the main shrine as part of daily worship.

The nearest major city is Thoothukudi, which has transport connections to reach the area, and local buses go toward Tirukulandhai. Visitors should wear comfortable footwear since moving through the different courtyards involves a fair amount of walking on stone floors.

This temple is part of a group of nine Divya Desam shrines located along the Tamraparani River, and devotees often visit all nine as a single pilgrimage. The river setting makes this one of the rare examples of a Divya Desam placed directly next to a flowing waterway.
