Tirunavaya Temple, Hindu temple in Malappuram district, India
The Tirunavaya Temple stands on the northern bank of Bharathapuzha River, featuring traditional Kerala architecture with detailed wood carvings and stone structures.
The temple dates back several centuries and was a venue for Mamankam festivals, celebrated every twelve years since the eighth century CE.
This temple forms part of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu and receives recognition in the Divya Prabandha Tamil hymn collection.
The temple opens daily from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with accommodation options ranging from private rooms to dormitories.
Unlike most Narayana-Lakshmi temples, this shrine contains a separate sanctuary for Goddess Lakshmi and uses river water for all religious ceremonies.
