Morkulangara Devi Temple

Morkulangara Devi Temple is a Hindu place of worship in Kottayam district that houses a life-sized statue of the Bhagavathy goddess. A large pond adjacent to the temple serves as the setting for religious ceremonies and rituals throughout the year.

The temple is accessible via Changanassery railway station, which is located less than 2 kilometers away. Visitors arriving from farther distances can also use Nedumbassery International Airport as an entry point.

A special moment occurs when the Shiva idol from nearby Major Vazhappally Temple arrives at the temple pond in a ceremonial procession. This event connects two sacred sites through a shared ritual performance.
