Viramgam Vidhan Sabha is a constituency in Gujarat state that brings together three administrative talukas within Ahmedabad district: Viramgam, Detroj-Rampura, and Mandal. The area sits in central Gujarat and covers both urban and rural communities around the town of Viramgam.
The first election in this constituency took place in 1972, when Kantibhai Ishwarlal Patel from NCO won with more than 25,000 votes. Since then, residents of the area have regularly sent a representative to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly.
