Digamber Jain Bada Mandir Hastinapur, Jain temple complex in Hastinapur, India
The temple rises 40 feet above ground level and contains multiple structures across its 40-acre grounds, including 100 individual temples and shrines.
Built in 1801 under Raja Harsukh Rai during Shah Alam II's reign, the temple marks the location where Rishabhanatha completed his fourteen-month meditation.
The main shrine houses a statue of Shantinatha in Padmasana position, with representations of Kunthunatha and Aranatha placed on either side.
The complex includes facilities for visitors such as dining halls, accommodation buildings, and libraries managed by the Shri Digamber Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee.
A 31-foot Manastambha column from 1955 stands at the entrance, while the 131-foot Kailash Parvat structure commemorates Rishabhanatha's significance.
