Sheikh Haydar Mausoleum, Islamic mausoleum and tower in Meshginshahr, Iran.

The cylindrical brick structure rises 18.5 meters high with decorative tiles, stone foundations, and three windowed sections adorned with traditional Persian patterns.

Built in 1331 during the Ilkhanid period, the mausoleum underwent substantial renovations in the 16th century under Safavid rulers to include new tilework.

The mausoleum houses the tomb of Sheikh Haydar, father of Shah Ismail I, marking its significance in Iranian religious and political heritage.

The interior contains two floors connected by a northern staircase, leading visitors through a narrow passage to reach the underground crypt chamber.

The structure originally featured a golden dome, which was destroyed in 1858 during conflicts involving Russian forces and the Quja Beyglu tribe.
