Tomb of Baba Loghman

The Tomb of Baba Loghman features a tall double-shelled dome supported by four corner squinches and contains multiple square niches on each side of its chamber.

Built in 1356, this structure serves as the resting place for Shaykh Muhammad bin Muhammad Luqman, a fourth-century Gnostic who directed its construction.

The interior showcases traditional Persian architectural elements through geometric stucco panels and detailed brick patterns that represent medieval Islamic design principles.

Located three kilometers east of Sarakhs town in Khorasan Razavi province, the mausoleum remains accessible to visitors throughout the year.

Natural light enters through strategic openings on all sides of the structure, creating shifting illumination patterns across the rhombic geometric decorations inside the dome.
