Vakil Ab Anbar is a large underground water storage facility built with brick, stone, plaster, and saruj materials featuring intricate architectural design. Specialized interior chambers were engineered to maintain cool temperatures through natural ventilation systems.
This water reservoir was built during the 18th century Zand dynasty as an example of advanced engineering for water preservation in arid climates. Its construction represented solutions developed to address water scarcity challenges of that era.
