Bovino Cathedral

Bovino Cathedral is a Romanesque co-cathedral and minor basilica featuring characteristic rounded arches, sturdy stone pillars, and a balanced front facade. The interior reveals typical medieval construction with barrel vaults and load-bearing columns that support the structure in the classical style of that era.

A devastating earthquake in 1930 caused significant damage to the structure, prompting major reconstruction efforts. The building was reconsecrated in 1936 following restoration, with the original Romanesque design elements carefully preserved.
