Casa Littoria, Bolzano, Rationalist government building in Bolzano, Italy.
The Casa Littoria features a convex facade with a monumental pediment, standing opposite to the courthouse across Piazza del Tribunale.
Built between 1939 and 1942, this structure served as the National Fascist Party headquarters in Bolzano under the designs of architects Guido Pellizzari, Francesco Rossi, and Luis Plattner.
The building contains a massive stone bas-relief by Hans Piffrader spanning 36 meters in length and covering 198 square meters of wall space.
The former party headquarters now houses State Financial Offices and various government departments serving South Tyrol's administrative needs.
In 2017, an illuminated inscription quoting Hannah Arendt was installed next to the original facade, creating a dialogue between historical and contemporary interpretations.
