Oratorio del Rosario di Santa Cita, Baroque chapel in Castellamare district, Palermo, Italy.
The interior walls display intricate stucco decorations featuring floral elements and individualized groups of putti depicting the fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary.
The Compagnia del SS. Rosario established this religious site in 1570, with construction of the current structure completed around 1680.
The main altar presents a Madonna of the Rosary with Dominican Saints painting created by Carlo Maratta in 1695, acquired for 1500 scudi.
The oratory entrance features a stone portal with a tree-motif coat of arms, leading to anterooms containing portraits of former confraternity directors.
Artist Giacomo Serpotta created detailed stucco decorations over three decades, with a 30-year gap between the nave and chancel works.
