Palazzo Comunale, Town hall in Cesena, Italy

The Palazzo Comunale stands in Piazza del Popolo, featuring a neoclassical facade with a central portico and a civic tower with a clock.

Cardinal Gil Alvarez Carrillo de Albornoz initiated the construction of the Palazzo Comunale in 1359, combining the Palatium Vetus and Palatium Novum into one structure.

The palace contains the Sala degli Specchi and Council Chamber, which display an extensive collection of 18th-century frescoes and period furniture.

The Palazzo Comunale maintains its function as Cesena's administrative center, with the mayor's office located in the former Palatium Vetus section.

Three original doors connected to the city walls formed the Matteo Nuti Path, which remained accessible until the late 18th century.
