Nevegal

Nevegal is a mountain resort between 1000 and 1700 meters in elevation with dense conifer forests and alpine meadows dotted with mountain flowers. The terrain includes ski slopes, hiking trails, and two distinct zones where the ski area and visitor facilities are located.

The mountain began development as a winter sports destination in the 1900s when the first ski lifts and slopes were built. Infrastructure improvements over the decades established it as a notable destination in the region.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes sits on the mountain and draws religious visitors seeking a spiritual experience. Pilgrims and hikers visit the chapel throughout the year, particularly during weekends and holidays when the mountain fills with people.

The mountain is accessible by ski lifts with slopes for all skill levels from beginners to advanced riders. The terrain can be explored on foot or by cable car, with rest areas and lodging available for extended stays.

The Coca Bassa slope offers night skiing with extensive lighting installations throughout the run. This feature makes it stand out as an unusual option in the Alpine region.
