Casa Carducci

Casa Carducci is a house museum in Bologna displaying the former residence of a major Italian poet. The building contains numerous rooms with objects from his life and a large collection of books and manuscripts.

The building dates from the 16th century and later became the final home of a celebrated Italian poet. After his death, the house was converted into a museum to preserve his legacy.

The house carries the poet's name and reveals his personal world to visitors. You can see his working spaces and understand how he lived and created his writings.

The museum is located in the city center and is relatively easy to reach. Note that opening hours vary by day of the week and may be limited on certain days.

In the memorial garden stands a monument built on the foundations of an older church from the 16th century. This layering of different historical periods makes the site particularly interesting.
