Casa Carducci, History museum and national heritage site in Bologna, Italy
The Casa Carducci museum exhibits the residence, personal belongings, and extensive library of Italian poet Giosuè Carducci across multiple exhibition rooms.
The building, dating from 1550, became the final home of Giosuè Carducci, who received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1906 for his contributions.
The museum contains a collection of 40,000 items, including manuscripts, letters, and books that demonstrate the evolution of Italian literature through time.
Visitors can access the museum on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 13:00, Fridays from 15:00 to 19:00, and weekends from 10:00 to 18:00.
The memorial garden features a monument created by Leonardo Bistolfi in 1928, standing above the remains of a 16th-century church and oratory.
