The Melchiorre Dèlfico Regional Library is a public library housed in an impressive 18th-century palazzo in central Teramo, holding over 300,000 volumes across multiple floors. The collection includes printed books, ancient manuscripts, artworks, and photographs that together cover a wide range of subjects and knowledge areas.

The library was established in 1816 by a decree of Joachim Murat within the Real Collegio di Teramo, inaugurated in 1814. In 1826 Melchiorre Dèlfico donated about 300 books, including 17th- to 19th-century editions, and the library took his name. In 1823 he had already given the most valuable part of his collection, early printed editions, to the Bourbon Royal Library in Naples.

The library's name honours Melchiorre Dèlfico, the Teramo philosopher and politician who in 1826 gave it about 300 books, including 17th- to 19th-century editions. Since 1987 it has published the quarterly "Notizie dalla Delfico", and its Abruzzo collection grew through donors such as the photographer Domenico Nardini, whose archive bears his name.

The library is located at Via Dèlfico 16 in the city center and is open on multiple days throughout the week. It is helpful to check opening hours before visiting, as they may vary by season or change occasionally.

The photographic archive is named after Domenico Nardini, whose collection was donated in the 1980s; further photographic holdings came from the provincial agriculture inspectorate and the former provincial tourist board. The Rosati donation of the early 1950s brought books, drawings, projects, paintings and photographs, while its archaeological finds are now displayed at the museum in Atri.
