Casa Rossini

Casa Rossini is the birthplace of composer Gioachino Rossini in Pesaro, housed in a four-story building with a basement and ten exhibition rooms. These spaces display documents, prints, and personal items that document his life and musical career.

The Italian government designated this birthplace as a national monument in 1904, recognizing its importance to Italian cultural heritage. This official protection secured the building and its collections for future generations.

The museum displays Rossini's personal Pleyel piano and extensive documentation tracing his path from Italy to Paris as a composer. Visitors can explore how the musician developed his craft through these collected items.
