Civic Museum of Palazzo Mosca

The Civic Museum of Palazzo Mosca displays over 500 artworks across five exhibition halls, featuring paintings, ceramics, porcelain, and glass collections from multiple periods.

The museum opened in 1936 after the municipality acquired the 16th-century Palazzo Mosca, previously owned by a wealthy merchant family who commissioned its 18th-century renovation.

The Renaissance collection includes the notable Pesaro Altarpiece by Giovanni Bellini from 1475, which originally decorated the Church of San Francesco.

The museum recorded 14,888 visitors in 2019 and provides wheelchair accessibility, a coffeehouse, bookstore, photo archive, library, and restoration laboratory.

The collection features modern artworks by Futurist artists and a 1925 porcelain vase titled La passeggiata archeologica created by Gio Ponti at Manifattura Doccia.
