Management center of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze

The Management Center of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze consists of six connected buildings with a central spine structure and surrounding office spaces.

The complex was built on the former Carapelli industrial site, following Leon Krier's 1994 master plan for urban development in Florence.

The architectural design by Giorgio Grassi combines traditional materials like brick and sandstone with modern structural principles to create a functional office environment.

Two underground parking facilities and connecting passages between buildings facilitate movement throughout the complex, while a central auditorium seats 500 people.

The center features a continuous ground-level portico linking all six buildings, with mature trees growing above the underground parking structures.
