The industrial complex was constructed between 1938 and 1939 under the direction of Turin engineer Vittorio Bonadè Bottino to house steam production boilers.
The building transforms into an exhibition center featuring the original boiler room, connecting walkways, and spaces dedicated to showcasing Florence's urban development.
The facility includes a ground floor public space for information and events, plus three upper levels with a restaurant and a rooftop terrace.
The renovation project incorporates a 36-meter metal tower, making it the tallest metallic structure in Florence.
