Nostra Signora del Santissimo Sacramento e Santi Martiri Canadesi, Modern Catholic church in Nomentano district, Rome, Italy
The church structure features parabolic arches and a prominent double staircase leading to a crypt containing the baptistery and religious artworks.
The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament commissioned the church in 1948, and architect Bruno Maria Apollonj Ghetti completed the construction in 1955.
The church functions as the national Catholic church of Canada in Rome, dedicated to Mary and the Canadian Martyrs who died in North America.
Located at 46 Via Giovanni Battista de Rossi, the church contains stained glass windows by Marcello Avenali and Giovanni Hajnal, plus a tabernacle by Francesco Nagni.
Federico Fellini selected this church for filming a scene in La Dolce Vita, featuring Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor on the organ.
