Santa Lucia del Gonfalone, Baroque church near Via dei Banchi Vecchi, Rome, Italy
The church features a two-order facade with a stepped entrance portal, an upper window, and a triangular tympanum crowning the structure.
The church existed between the late 12th and early 13th centuries, with major reconstructions in 1511 and complete rebuilding by architect Marco David from 1761 to 1764.
The interior displays frescoes by Cesare Mariani depicting themes of liberation and charity, reflecting the mission of the Archconfraternity of the Gonfalone.
The church stands one block south of Corso Vittorio Emanuele at Via dei Banchi Vecchi 12, serving as the provincial headquarters for Claretian Missionaries.
An 1882 Nicola Morettini pipe organ, enclosed in a neoclassical wooden case, remains preserved in the choir loft right of the apse.
