San Giovanni Battista

The initial chapel at this location dates to 1181, commissioned by Bardone dei Conti Fieschi, while the current structure was completed in 1624 by architects Andrea Ceresola and Bartolomeo Rossi.

The interior displays numerous Baroque elements, including altarpieces by Orazio De Ferrari and Domenico Fiasella, plus choir frescoes depicting John the Baptist's life by Giovanni Battista Carloni.
