San Francesco

San Francesco is a former church building in Chiavari that now serves as a multi-purpose auditorium and event space with architectural features spanning medieval and baroque periods. The building was established in 1256 when two nephews of Pope Innocent IV Fieschi founded a church at this location. In the 17th century, architect Bartolomeo Bianco carried out major renovations that shaped its current form.
