Giardino della Zisa, Urban park near Zisa Palace in Palermo, Italy.
The rectangular garden spans 30,000 square meters with a central canal connecting multiple water basins along its 130-meter length.
The park opened in 2005 on the grounds of Genoard, a medieval hunting area once called Jannat al-ard, meaning garden of paradise on earth.
White marble paths from Alcamo quarries and ceramic decorations from Santo Stefano di Camastra reflect local Sicilian craftsmanship throughout the space.
The park maintains regular hours from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily, offering free access to visitors throughout all seasons.
A metal structure with geometric patterns based on Islamic designs creates a shaded pathway covered in climbing plants along one side of the garden.
