Monte Bracco, Mountain summit in Piedmont, Italy

Monte Bracco is a summit in Piedmont that rises between valleys and plains at about 1,300 meters high. The western side slopes gently upward, while the eastern face drops sharply and offers challenges for climbers.

In medieval times, workers extracted stone from this mountain for buildings across the region. This quarrying activity was an important part of local life and left lasting marks on the landscape.

The mountain has been tied to human activity for thousands of years, bearing traces of ancient cultures carved into its rocks. Visitors can find signs of this long occupation scattered across the slopes, showing how people have lived and worked here throughout time.

A large trail circles the mountain and works well for hikers and mountain bikers, with options for winter activities too. Wear sturdy shoes and check weather beforehand, as conditions can change quickly at this elevation.

The rock faces offer a wide range of climbing routes at different difficulty levels for various skill levels. Both experienced climbers and beginners can find suitable challenges here, making it a versatile climbing destination.
