Litorale del Cavallino

The beach extends for 15 kilometers along the Adriatic Sea, featuring fine golden sand and shallow waters suitable for swimming and recreation.

Initially part of Venice until 1999, the coastal area became independent following a local referendum that established the separate municipality of Cavallino-Treporti.

The beach hosts regular local craft markets where visitors can discover traditional Venetian products and artisanal goods from the region.

Numerous campsites, hotels, and beach facilities line the coast, offering accommodations and services for the 6 million annual visitors to this destination.

The beach area includes protected sand dunes with wild orchids and a pine forest, creating a natural barrier between the Venetian Lagoon and Adriatic Sea.
