Monte Plische

Monte Plische is a mountain summit in the Venetian Prealps positioned at the border between Veneto and Trentino Alto-Adige. The peak stands at 1,991 meters and forms part of a scenic ridge system characteristic of this alpine region.

The mountain has long served as a natural boundary line between the historical regions of Veneto and Trentino Alto-Adige over many centuries. This position at the frontier influenced how both territories developed and made it a key landmark in regional geography.

Local shepherds maintain traditional agricultural practices at Malga Campobrun, a mountain hut located 999 meters from the summit of Monte Plische.

Multiple hiking trails of varying difficulty lead to the summit, with access points starting from parking areas near natural reserves in the region. Visitors can choose routes matching their experience level and available time for the climb.

Monte Plische ranks as the most prominent peak among four mountains in the Riserva naturale guidata di Campobrun and 23rd within Vicenza province.
