Monte Stella, Artificial hill and park in QT8 district, Milan, Italy.

Monte Stella rises 180 meters above Milan, featuring walking paths, recreational spaces, and observation points that provide views of the Alps and Apennines.

Created in the 1950s from building debris after World War II and remnants of demolished Spanish walls, Monte Stella emerged through architect Piero Bottoni's reconstruction plan.

The Garden of the Righteous within Monte Stella contains trees dedicated to individuals who opposed genocide, including Moshe Bejski and Andrej Sakharov.

The park spans 370,000 square meters and includes multiple access points, walking trails, and recreational areas for outdoor activities throughout the year.

Initially planned at 90 meters height, engineers reduced Monte Stella to 45 meters to prevent structural pressure on buildings along Via Isernia.
