Museo Napoli Novecento, Contemporary art museum in Castel Sant'Elmo, Naples, Italy.
Located inside the Castel Sant'Elmo fortress, the Museo Napoli Novecento displays 170 artworks from 90 different artists, documenting Naples' artistic evolution between 1910 and 1980.
The museum, established through POR-FESR Campania 2007-2013 funds, originated from Nicola Spinosa's initiative to collect and preserve twentieth-century avant-garde testimonies in Naples.
The exhibition path spans from early Liberty and post-impressionist orientations through Futurism movements to Pop Art experiences, representing Naples' artistic development across seven decades.
Adult admission costs 5 euros, young visitors between 18 and 24 pay 2.50 euros, while children enter free of charge to explore the chronologically arranged exhibition rooms.
The museum occupies the former prison cells of Castel Sant'Elmo, with exhibitions arranged along a central corridor that creates a ring-shaped path through the castle's upper levels.
